Starter strategists: Xiangxiang, Chang Xiao’e and Baige
The short answer
Xiangxiang contributes attacks, Chang Xiao’e builds levels through repeated assistance, and Baige rewards merges. Choose a trigger you can use reliably, then fit a lineup to it.
How the three differ
- Xiangxiang starts with 20 attack; each tier-1–3 hero at level 10+ adds 20. Check that threshold on early units.
- Chang Xiao’e grants a random hero 2 levels; each assistance increases future grants by 1. Remember to use the skill.
- Baige grants Improvisation after four merges. Merge useful cards rather than buying solely to reach the count.
Choosing among the others
- The wiki currently shows 19 verified strategist card entries. New strategist Angela launched on September 30, but her release skills still need verification; she is separate from hero Angela.
- Inspect Naonao for faction-card construction; study Yu Huan or Sun Xiaobin when ready for card-sequence loops.
- Ease of learning is not a current tier ranking. Check fit with your chosen engine.
